Thankful Table Runner Class

Prepare your holiday tablescape with Thankful from Nancy Halvorsen's Table Please Part Two.  Everyone is welcome from 10 AM to 4 PM October 18.

Laura will guide you through applique and piecing techniques in this one-day session for confident beginners.  Students will make an applique pumpkin as well as the word "Thankful" and piece a scrappy border. 

Choose to attend either in-person or virtually.   

This class is set up as machine embroidery and works best with 10 x 10-inch hoops or larger.  However, it can be adapted to sewing machine only or to a smaller sized hoop.  Please contact the store if you would like to use one of the store's machines.  

Class fee includes embroidery files, cut files, HeatNBond Lite for applique.

Class supplies to bring:

• Table Please Part Two by Nancy Halvorsen*  and Basic Supplies PLUS

Applique and Piecing Supplies

• 3/4 yard for background, outside border and binding
• Backing 1/2 yard
• 1 fat quarter for "Thankful"
• 1 fat eighth for green vine fabric 
• fat eighths or scraps of at least five fabrics for pieced pumpkin
• fat eighth or scraps of 9 fabrics for pieced border
• SF101 for stabilizing and hooping
• ScanNCut (optional)
• Sewing machine, embroidery machine.
• Applique scissors
  
• 16" x 34" or larger batting
• Coordinating polyester or rayon threads
• Bobbin thread
