Cozy up to our Storytime Pillow class at Quilt Lizzy Ayden.  Donna Todd will show you how to construct this adorable pillow with the perfect book pocket entirely on your serger.  Skills that will be mastered

• Rolled Hem,
• Shirring,
• Gathering,
• Piping,
• Zipper Instillation,
• Binding,
• Three and Four Thread Overlock

Class cost includes these materials for one Boy or one Girl Storytime Pillow-1/4yd for outside ruffle, 1/8yd for pillow ruffle, 1/2yd for front and back, 1/8yd each for 2 different prints for pocket shirring, 1/2yd bias strips, 1/2yd Pellon SF-101, 22-24” zipper, 2 yds of 1/8” cording.  The 16" pillow form is NOT INCLUDED.

Boy Kit will have binding, and Girl Kit will have ruffles and shirring.  Both boy and girl kit will have the opportunity to learn the same skill set.

Sewing supplies needed-

• Serger
• basic sewing supplies 
• 4 different colors of serger threads, 
• all feet/accessories
• manual that comes with your machine

We will specifically use a Piping foot and Gathering foot for your serger and if your serger requires it a Rolled Hem foot.

Optional supplies-Two spools of Decorative thread like Madeira Decora 12 wt. (the sample used 2 spools Madeira Decora 12 wt in a variegated color).
