Sweet and Simple Machine Cover
Build your own machine cover while you add to your serger skill set. Donna Todd leads this project for our second in this new serger series. Adjustments can be made for larger machines.
This February 20 class starts promptly at 10 AM and ends at 5 PM. If you don't have a serger yet, call the store to arrange a test model.
Fabric Requirements
- Center Panel 7 ½ x 15
- Side Strips 2 ½ x 30-two print and two solid: will vary depending on the width of the machine
- Back Panel 20x28
- Batting 20x28
- Backing 20 x 30 ½
- Tie-two strips 2”x WOF
- 3 ½ yards cotton cording
Supplies Needed
- Serger in good working order
- Optional coverstitch in good working order or sewing machine
- 2 spools 12 weight decorative thread
- 4 cones overlock thread
- Fabric marking tool-ie. Frixion pen, chalk marker, water soluble marker, etc
- Fabric glue stick/pen
- Clover wonder clips
- Scissors
- Acrylic Ruler
- Rotary cutter and mat
- Fabric Folding Pen

- Lace Applicator Foot
