Trick or Treat Runner Class

Cooler weather is on the way and fall will soon be here.  Set the stage with this new Trick or Treat runner. 

Laura will guide you through your choices in four blocks.  You choose whether to stitch them as applique or as embroidery or a combination of both.  Digitizers from Monday's class can stitch out their own variations or use Laura's files to build one 14" x 47" runner or a set of four in the hoop mini-quilts. 

Also choose to attend in-person or virtually.   

This class is set up as machine embroidery and works best with 10 x 10-inch hoops or larger.  However, it can be adapted to sewing machine only or to a smaller sized hoop.  Please contact the store if you would like to use one of the store's machines.  Everyone is welcome from 10 AM to 4 PM September 20.

Class fee includes embroidery files, cut files, HeatNBond Lite for applique. **Kits are available upon request.  Please call the store for a special order.

Applique Supplies

•  4 Background squares, 11" x 11"
• SF101 for stabilizing and hooping
• Assorted coordinating scraps for character faces, clothing, hair, hats. (Store sample uses Witchy Woods collection.
• One fat quarter for mummy head and bandages
• Coordinating cotton or polyester thread for sewing and decorative stitches.
• Buttons for eyes, spider body--optional
• ScanNCut
• Sewing machine, embroidery machine.
• Applique scissors
• 3/8 yard accent border fabric
  
• 16" x 49" batting
• Backing (extra will be needed for 4 mini-quilt option)
• 3/8 yard binding

Embroidery Supplies

•  4 Background squares, 11" x 11"
• SF101 for stabilizing and hooping
  
• Fusible medium to heavy weight cut away stabilizer OR batting
• Coordinating polyester or rayon threads
• Bobbin thread
